Basketball- 6

Well, we had a fun year and did well over all. In the Big 4 tournament we got beat by Huron by one point. So, then we couldn’t play in the championship game against Brookings. We played for the third and fourth place game and we beat Watertown and got third. But before we played Huron, the popcorn machine set off the fire alarm so we were standing outside in just shorts and the rest of our gear for 20 minutes to a half-an-hour. We were relieved when we knew we could go back inside and start to warm up for the biggest game of the tournament. When we lost, we were all crushed because we had just lost our last chance to beat Huron in our seventh grade season. We were zero and three against them that season. When we played Watertown the next game after that, coach said to take all our anger out on them because they were an easy team to beat. That was my last game of the season and I had a lot of fun.
